Determine the volume you require:
Multiply (LENGTH in FEET) x (WIDTH in FEET) x (DEPTH in INCHES) x (0.0833) = VOLUME in CF
Multiply (Cubic Feet (CF)) x (DENSITY (pcf)) = POUNDS REQUIRED
Divide (POUNDS REQUIRED) / (2000 Pounds per Ton) = TONS
Order your stone by the ton. A truck typically hauls 20 tons.
